Is a BaZi reading accurate?
Two things are worth separating. The calculation is exact and reproducible: the same birth details always give the same pillars, and the free My Life Blueprint lists every calculated value so you can check it against another calculator. The interpretation comes from a traditional symbolic system. It has not been scientifically validated, and no LuckTime report predicts a specific event. Use it as a structured way to reflect on patterns and timing, alongside your own judgment.
Is my report written by AI?
No. Reports are generated by fixed, versioned rules applied to your calculated chart. No language-model provider is connected to report generation, so the same birth details and report date always produce the same report. My Life Blueprint and the Career report also show the chart evidence behind each finding.
What if I don't know my birth time?
Leave the time blank. LuckTime will not guess an hour: the hour pillar is left out, and anything that depends on the exact birth moment, including your 10-year luck cycles, is withheld. The year, month, and day pillars are still calculated, and if the day pillar could change within that date, the possible pillars are shown. Love & Marriage is the one report that requires an exact birth time.
Why do you ask for my sex?
Traditional BaZi uses it to set the direction of the 10-year luck cycles: forward for a yang-year male or yin-year female, in reverse otherwise. Love & Marriage also uses it for the traditional spouse-star reading. It does not change your four pillars.
Will my personal data be sold or shared?
No. LuckTime does not sell your personal information and does not share it for targeted advertising. Your birth details are used to prepare the report you request. They are not sent to advertising platforms, marketing pixels, or the analytics service, and no language-model or third-party astrology provider receives them. The services that run the site process only what their job needs: Stripe for payments (LuckTime never receives your full card number), Supabase for accounts, Resend if you choose email delivery, and our hosting provider.
Can I delete my data?
A guest reading is kept in your browser tab and normally ends when you close it. If you request email delivery as a guest, a protected temporary copy is kept for up to 90 days so it can be linked to an account you later verify with the same email. Signed-in customers can download an export of their account data. Self-service account deletion is not available yet; email support@lucktime.net to request deletion. Some payment and order records may be kept for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
How do I receive my report?
After Stripe confirms payment, your report is prepared and opens on screen, usually within a minute, with the complete PDF to open or download. You can also request one-time email delivery of the PDF. As a guest, keep the tab open until you have the PDF; if you are signed in, the report is saved to your account.
What if something goes wrong with my purchase?
If a report cannot be generated or delivered, or you are charged twice for the same order, email support@lucktime.net. We review the order and restore delivery or refund that charge to your original payment method. Because each report is prepared for the details you submit, a successfully delivered report is generally not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
Why is my chart different from another app's?
Usually because of a setting. LuckTime uses local true (apparent) solar time for the hour pillar, starts the day at apparent-solar midnight, and uses the historical time zone and daylight-saving rules of your birthplace. Calculators that use clock time, start the day at 23:00, or ignore historical daylight saving can give a different hour or day pillar near those boundaries.
Do I need an account?
No. You can generate the free My Life Blueprint and buy any report as a guest. Signing in simply saves your birth profile and reports so you can come back to them.
Can I use a report to make medical, legal, or financial decisions?
No. LuckTime offers reflective and entertainment content. The Health & Wellbeing report is not a diagnosis, and the Wealth report is not financial advice. For those decisions, consult a qualified professional.
